Pulse Dashboard overview

A guided tour of every panel, every control, and the order to read them in.

Pulse is laid out top-to-bottom with the most operationally-important data on top: today's revenue and live activity. Below that, the channel breakdown that drives most decisions. At the bottom, the trend chart for context.

Five operational areas, top to bottom: Trial banner, KPI tiles, Channel performance, Trend chart, Date range.

1. Trial banner

If you're on the 7-day free trial, a banner pinned to the top of every Pulse view shows your trial status:

  • Purple background — normal, days remaining shown
  • Amber background — 2 or fewer days remaining
  • Red background — trial expired (read-only mode until you start a paid subscription)

Once you're on a paid plan, the banner only reappears for billing issues (failed payment, grace period). See Trial mechanics.

2. KPI tiles

Four high-level numbers across the top:

TileWhat it shows
RevenueNet revenue (after refunds, excluding test/cancelled orders) for the active date range
SessionsTotal sessions in the date range, all channels
ConversionsNumber of orders with attributable journeys
AOVAverage order value = Revenue ÷ Conversions

Each tile shows the absolute number plus a delta vs the previous period (when comparison is enabled in the date selector).

Full reference: KPI tiles.

3. Channel performance

The table everyone reads first. Each row is a channel; columns are sessions, conversions, revenue, and percentage of revenue mix.

The model toggle in the top-right of this panel switches the attribution model:

  • First — credit goes to the visitor's first session
  • Last — credit goes to the visitor's most recent session
  • Linear — equal share across every session

Click between them and watch the channel mix re-balance. Same data, three lenses.

Full reference: Channel performance.

4. Trend chart

A line chart of revenue (or sessions, toggle to switch) over the active date range. Useful for spotting:

  • Day-of-week patterns
  • Sudden drops or spikes
  • The effect of a campaign launch

Hover any point for a daily breakdown. The chart respects the active date range and any active filters.

Full reference: Trend charts.

5. Date range selector

Top-right of Pulse. Defaults to Today. Pre-set ranges:

  • Today
  • Yesterday
  • Last 7 days
  • Last 30 days
  • Last 90 days
  • Custom range

Each preset can be paired with a comparison period ("vs previous period"). When comparison is on, KPI tiles show deltas and the trend chart overlays both periods.

Full reference: Date range and comparison.

Top-right controls

A few global controls live in the top bar of every Pulse view:

  • Search (⌘K) — global search across visitors, orders, and pages
  • Site switcher — if you have access to multiple sites (rare in v1, since FTS enforces 1 site per user) this dropdown switches between them
  • User menu — your account, billing, sign out

Real-time vs daily-batched

Pulse is mostly real-time:

  • Live Visitors counter — updates every few seconds
  • Today's revenue / sessions / conversions — updates within seconds of each new event or webhook
  • Channel performance for "Today" — updates in near-real-time as journeys grow
  • Trend chart for past days — daily-batched at midnight in your store's timezone

Past days don't shift after midnight (each day's number is final once the day closes).

What you can't do in Pulse v1.0

  • Save custom views. Date range + filter combos reset on page reload. Saved views are post-v1.
  • Export to CSV. Manual exports are post-v1; only bulk data export via the (planned) read-only API will be available.
  • Schedule emailed reports. Daily/weekly digest emails are post-v1.
  • Edit channel rules. Channel taxonomy is fixed in v1 (see Channels and sources).

Each of these is on the post-v1.0 roadmap. Real customer signal from the v1.0 cohort prioritizes which lands first.
